Nesting in Sherman Oaks

Mourning doves are part of our neighborhoods and Sherman Oaks selected my proposal to have their nest there. Every year, I have the privilege of hosting these doves at my place, so I could see the whole nesting and feathering process. I took pictures from time to time as they nested in the light fixture my front door. It helped me to be aware of how nature reclaims its space, and adds beauty to our daily lives.
